Public Transportation Updates

In order to broaden and improve bus networks under the guidance of MOTC following are the changes;

- With effect from 19th August 2017:

Routes 57,74,75 and 777

- Passing by City Center Doha will stop at the new lay-by area.

- Bus route 76 will still continue to use current bus stop.

- No other vehicles or buses are allowed to enter the new lay-by area as it will be reserved for the above mentioned

  Public Transport buses only. 

- Any unauthorized parking will be subject to necessary action by the authorities.

-With effect from 28th May 2017:

Route 727(New)

- Route 747 Hamad International Airport (HIA) to Al Khor 

- Frequency every 60 minutes

- Starting At 04:00 am to 10:00 pm

- Route passes by Al-Matar street, Landmark (Al-Gharafa), Al-Shamal road & Al-Khor mall (Al-Khor)

Route 777

- From Hamad International Airport (HIA) extended to the Pearl-Qatar (Via Lagoona mall)

- Frequency of 20 minutes 

- Starting at 05:00 am to 12:00 midnight

- With effect from 1st May 2017:

Route 747

-Route 747 Hamad International Airport (HIA) to Doha Bus Station (DBS) modified

-Frequency every 20 minutes

-From Hamad International Airport (HIA) to Doha Bus Station (DBS) covering major hotels in city

-Change made to cover major hotels around Doha Bus Station (DBS), Corniche and Salata area

Route 737

-          Route 737 operates Karwa Bus station (KBS) to Hamad International Airport (HIA)

-          Frequency every 30 minutes

-          Route passes by Barwa City, Religious complex and Mesaimeer Health Center

-          Industrial area, Barwa city users can also avail this service to HIA

Route 74&75

improve passenger connectivity to key locations, reduce travel and waiting time, based on the performance analysis and feedback from public following changes are made:

-          Route 74 operating in West Bay as single route will now operate in two routes 74&75 starting from 6am – 9pm, 7 days a week

-          15 minutes frequency

Routes 302&303 services are terminated

Routes 20,21&22 will cover part of these terminated
