We serve Qatar with more than just reliable transport services. We are committed to live sustainability in our services, operations, and day-to-day activities. For our public transit services, we always look to ensure that they are attractive, flexible, and reliable. We constantly develop our transport offerings with our bus, taxi, chauffeur, and last mile solutions to reduce our carbon footprint on the streets of Qatar. In our internal ‘Green starts small’ projects we encourage our staff to reduce electricity and water consumption, We have planted hundreds of trees around our facilities and accommodations and give our drivers the opportunity to plant their own vegetables and herbs. On company level, we have acquired latest energy-saving equipment for our workshops and offices, we re-use grey water for our vehicle washing facilities and recycle tons of waste every month. During the past few years, we have implemented many sustainability-oriented partnership agreements for making everyone’s environment greener and healthier. Those ranged from fleet-related R&D initiatives with universities to finding reliable partners for our recycling efforts. Some of those projects focus on our premises and accommodations, like the development of recreational spaces and running tracks. We have also been using BioBin organic waste convertors that turn daily food waste from the staff canteen into useful products, such as compost and organic fertilizer. We pledge to fulfil our sustainability mandate for future generations and constantly benchmark our business strategy against international ESG standards.
